We are introducing a new online Morse (CW) code trainer for both beginner and advanced radio amateurs. This program was developed by our 4U1A club member Sparky (OE1ZZZ). The program is adapted for any platform and opens in any online web browser.

Features:

Main Training Modes

The program offers nine different operation modes, switchable via the menu:

  • Training: Basic training mode.

  • SDR: Mode with an SDR-style waterfall visualization.

  • Lessons: A structured lesson system.

  • Mobile: An interface optimized for mobile devices.

  • Flexible: Flexible settings tailored for specific tasks.

  • Contest: A mode for practicing skills under contest conditions.

  • QSO: Practice mode for conducting radio contacts.

  • CRT: A specialized visualization mode.

  • Zen: A mode for comfortable, “meditative” practice.

Level Settings:

Presets are available for different levels of proficiency:

  • Beginner: For beginners.

  • Advanced: For advanced users.

  • Master: For masters (includes callsigns and full QSOs).

Tools:

  • Waterfall (SDR Style): Real-time signal visualizer with support for horizontal or vertical orientation.

  • Random Group Generator: A random group generator with various profiles:

    • Simple to complex.

    • Words (up to 5 letters).

    • Callsigns only.

    • Digits only.

    • Mixed (letters + digits).

    • Master level (callsigns and QSOs).

  • Timing & Ratio: Detailed adjustment of timings and the dot-to-dash ratio (e.g., 1:2, 1:3, 1:4).

  • Memory Channels / Lessons: Management of saved lessons and settings for various proficiency levels.

Personalization:

  • Color Themes: Full customization of the interface color scheme, allowing you to adapt the trainer’s appearance to personal preferences.

The application is fully responsive, works in any modern browser, and requires no additional software installation.
