An unscheduled repair of the “XL222” HF antenna, which stood for 2 years and which was heavily battered by the wind. Some parts of the construction had to be replaced. The antenna rotor was also repaired. We didn’t find out where the soot came from at the junction of the boom tubes.
Now antenna is working perfect for 20-15-10m bands.
